When I discovered that there are close to 80,000 ingredients in our daily use products that have not been tested for human safety, I changed brands and became a 'Toxic Free' advocate. For 16 years, I have been educating parents, teachers and others, about the controversial chemicals present in what we use at home and on our family. .Jan has authored a prophetic poetry book "Heaven Is All About Him" ($19.99
and two children's rhyming stories based on The Parables of Jesus "The Good Samaritan" ($12.50) based on the parable that Jesus told to show we should all be kind and love our neighbour and 'The Prodigal Son" showing the love and forgiveness of the father and how we are all loved beyond our own perception. Then a Companion to 'The Good Samaritan' with puzzles and colouring and the 2 book deal of The Good Samaritan and The Good Samaritan Companion is just $19.99 This was a total dog leg for Jan - she tells how she didn't even read poetry and was not intending to write a children's book, let alone illustrate them! She believes that some achievements are hidden desires of our hearts, and has a firm belief that if they are in there, it means you also have been given the means to get them out. |
"Heaven Is All About Him"

The poetry book "Heaven is all about Him" contains poems taken from Jans journal starting when she first became a Christian in 2010. They seemed to speak to people in a deep place in their spirit and so after much persuasion she had them published to enable her to share them. Jan had a launch in January 2018 a week before her 60th birthday and was very encouraged by the response and her friends and new customers can all witness first hand the effect they have on others. Jan described 'The Good Samaritan' as one of those random poems that popped up amongst the deeply spiritual ones. It seemed like it deserved a place on the book shelf. It is now in several libraries, schools, book shops and Sunday schools as well as online at Vision Christian Media and Koorong. The second parable 'The Prodigal Son' was deliberately written It has the same fun rhyming style as the previous book and once again the illustrations are by the author Janet. This tells the wonderful story of the wasteful son who takes his inheritance and squanders it on a party lifestyle until he loses it all. He goes back to his father and his father forgives him and welcomes him with open arms. A great story to teach about forgiveness |
